so one way to do this is you could start off offering really basic services and in the meantime, you could be learning some more advanced skills and start to slowly bring them into your freelance offering and the next thing you need to do once you've picked what services you're going to offer is you need to create a profile so the profile is a bit like a social media profile but it's just on these freelance websites.

Well firstly what you need to do is you need to pick a service that you're going to deliver so you need to deliver a service that a you can carry out.
So it needs to be a skill that you already do or needs to be something you can learn pretty easily and also you need to pick something that's in fairly high demand in your area.
So for example there's no point in starting a gardening business if your area has no gardens you need to pick a service where people already need the surface and you're simply getting in there and delivering it.

The fifth side hustle on this list is attending focus groups.
Focus groups are groups of people who are brought together by companies to test their new products or services they basically pay for you to spend a day or several days sitting with them discussing the new product or service and giving your opinion and feedback.
This is by no means my favorite side hustle on this list but it's definitely a means-tested way of earning a few hundred pounds a month with a fairly minimal effort.
It can be started quickly simply by signing up to a focus group website it's cheap to start in fact it costs an offer to sign up with these sites and in terms of flexibility, it's actually not hugely flexible to be honest because you are very much guided by when the focus groups are available from these companies.
However, you are free to pick and choose the ones that you can attend so there is some degree of flexibility there in terms of going potential again it's not a big one but you can, of course, look to become a regular focus group than for certain companies but there's no way you can really turn this into a long term business or career so how do you get started getting into focus groups.
so it's not really a huge detailed process to started in focus groups basically all you need to do is sign up to one of the big UK focus group websites list below.

And once you signed up with them you simply wait for them to contact you with suitable focus groups for you to attend so this is more of what I call it background side hustle it's something you sign up for and then if you get a call what you'll go into one of these focus groups.
You could earn potentially a few hundred pounds just from one session from a day or two days so it's just something that's worth having in the background perhaps while you work on other side hustles.
And the focus groups themselves aren't particularly stressful was difficult so it's a fairly way of earning extra income so that brings me to the end of the blog.
